individually quick-frozen with the process


I.Q.F.

The IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) is a type of cryogenic freezing process in which different

foods are submitted to obtain the ultimate result being a product that retains more than 95%

of the physical properties and nutritional value of fresh produce.

When a food is frozen by the IQF process all the liquid contents are rapidly converted into tiny

ice crystals, whose shape does not produce any damage in the cell membranes of the product,

unlike when it is frozen using conventional mechanical means.

The IQF process that our company has implemented within its own production line is

accompanied by food processes to achieve 100% natural color, texture and flavor of all our

products, thus providing several markets in the way a unmistakable quality.

The products are pre-selected during the harvest and selected again before the transformation

process. They are then subjected to the processes of washing, peeling and cutting into sections

cubic, depending on the nature of the product. As a result, are subjected to food processing

and freezing in the IQF to be dosed and packaged in packs required by our customers.


It 'also possible the production of aseptic fruit puree apricots, peaches and pears, including

envelopes and drums.


Fresh fruit, after being converted into a purée, enters a vacuum container where it is

concentrated, pasteurized and sterilized at temperatures> 100 ° for about 15 minutes by water

vapor. Then the product is cooled and packaged in drums of 180 kg. or in special tanks

previously sterilized.
